Carezza
The place Karersee is located between the Karersee and the Karerpass. The altitude of the village is 1,600 m a.s.l and is at the hearth of the UNESCO world natural heritage Dolomites, on the foot of Rosengarten and Latemar.
The natural monument Karersee is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes of the Alps. Well known especially for its soft and deep green water and the nice mountain scenery in the back-ground. You have to see it on evening or early mornings, when the Rosengarten and Latemar, like a natural spectacle, are going to be reflected in the crystal clear see water.
