The King Laurin Empire is well known for always being attended by an incomparable panorama over the Dolomites mountains Rosengarten and Latemar with their alpenglow: The presence of calcium carbonate and manganese in the dolomite rock causes the mountains to glow in increasingly intense vibrant hues of red. As the sun sets further, the colors soften to a mellow orange and darkening shade of violet until they disappear into the total darkness of the night.
